Arthur Brook (1896-1957), born near Builth Wells, was a renowned natural history photographer whose work was published in many books and magazines. This silver medal was awarded to him at the Berlin Hunting Festival in 1937, for his photograph of a Golden Eagle. The reverse includes a swastika, having been awarded to Arthur four years after the Nazis rise to power in Germany. Roedd Arthur Brook (1896-1957), a anwyd ger Llanfair-ym-Muallt, yn ffotograffydd hanes naturiol enwog y cyhoeddwyd ei waith mewn llawer o lyfrau a chylchgronau. Dyfarnwyd y fedal arian hon iddo yng Ngŵyl Hela Berlin yn 1937, am ei ffotograff o Eryr Aur. Mae'r ochr waelod yn cynnwys swastika, gan iddo gael ei ddyfarnu i Arthur bedair blynedd wedi i'r Natsïaid ddod i rym yn yr Almaen.
