Arthur Brook (1896-1957), born near Builth Wells, was a renowned natural history photographer whose work was published in many books and magazines. This silver medal was awarded to him at the Berlin Hunting Festival in 1937, for his photograph of a Golden Eagle. The reverse includes a swastika, having been awarded to Arthur four years after the Nazis rise to power in Germany.
