Silver Pen Ysgrifbin arian

This silver pen was presented by the postmaster in Brecon to the Mayoress, Gertrude E. Lewis in 1935. She used it to sign a congratulatory telegram to HRH The Prince of Wales on the occasion of King George V’s Silver Jubilee. Telegrams from local dignitaries were encouraged using new 'sixpenny wires'. Cyflwynwyd yr ysgrifbin arian hwn gan bostfeistr Aberhonddu iír Faeres Gertrude E. Lewis ym 1935. Defnyddiodd hiír ysgrifbin i lofnodi telegram llongyfarch at Ei Fawrhydi, Tywysog Cymru ar achlysur JiwbilÓ Arian Brenin SiÙr y Pumed. Anogwyd urddasolion i anfon telegramau gan ddefnyddioír ìgwifrau chwe cheiniogî newydd.
