This illuminated book of painted views of Hay, was presented to Rev. William Latham Bevan (1821-1908), Archdeacon of Brecon, Vicar of Hay, 13th May 1895 by his parishioners. He contributed to the restoration of St. Mary’s Church, Hay on Wye and the building of schools and the town clock and tower. Cyflwynwyd y llyfr hwn ag ynddo luniau cain o’r Gelli i’r Parch. William Latham Bevan (1821-1908), Archddiacon Aberhonddu, Ficer y Gelli, 13 Mai 1895 gan ei blwyfolion. Cyfrannodd at adfer Eglwys y Santes Fair, y Gelli Gandryll, ac adeiladau ysgolion, cloc y dref a’r twr.
