Mabel Lucie Attwell design Crawfords biscuit tin and money box. Since Victorian times, decorative biscuit tins have been very popular for special occasions, and this was bought full of festive biscuits at Christmas in 1935. Mabel Lucie Atwell was a popular artist and illustrator of the time who specialised in depictions of cute children with rosy cheeks.
