This brass handbell comes from St David’s Convent School in Brecon, which closed in 1993. The ringing of the school bell signalled the start of the school day when the children would line up in the playground ready for the day’s lessons. Daw'r gloch bres hon o Ysgol Lleiandy Dewi Sant yn Aberhonddu, a gaeodd ym 1993. Roedd canu cloch yr ysgol yn arwydd o ddechrau'r diwrnod ysgol pan fyddai'r plant yn sefyll mewn rhes ar yr iard yn barod am wersi'r dydd.
