WVS Uniform, Green Overcoat (Back) Gwisg WVS, Cׅôt Fawr Werdd

Women's Voluntary Service uniform. Overall or overcoat. There were two types of overalls, a wrap-over and a coat-style. This is the coat-style with buttons. Made out of a light-weight cotton in either green or red with a WVS monogram over the breast pocket. This would have been worn over regular clothes to protect them from dirt and grime. Gwisg Gwasanaeth Gwirfoddol y Merched. Oferôl neu gôt fawr. Roedd dau fath o oferôl, un mewn dull lapio, a’r llall fel côt. Steil y gôt yw hon, gyda botymau. Fe’i gwnaethpwyd o gotwm ysgafn mewn gwyrdd neu goch, gyda monogram y WVS dros boced y frest. Byddai’n cael ei wisgo uwchben dillad cyffredin i’w diogelu rhag baw ac ati.
