Photograph of Trewythen Arms Hotel, Llanidloes c.1880s. Built as a town house in the 1770s it became an inn in 1834 and was the scene of the Chartist outbreak in 1839. The porch was added in the mid 1800s and the building greatly extended in the 1860s. Two carriages are out the front possibly transporting hotel guests. Ffotograff o Westy’r Trewythen Arms, Llanidloes c.1880au. Cafodd ei adeiladu fel tŷ tref yn yr 1770au ac aeth yn dafarn ym 1834 a dyma leoliad gwrthryfel y Siartwyr ym 1839. Ychwanegwyd y porth yng nghanol yr 1800au ac ehangwyd yr adeilad yn sylweddol yn yr 1860au. Mae dau gerbyd allan yn y blaen o bosibl yn cludo gwesteion i’r gwesty.
