The use of paper notes in Brecknockshire began in the late 18th century, enabling farmers and livestock drovers to operate more securely without carrying cash. This pound note was issued in 1815 for local businesses in Brecknock, it is signed by George North. Dechreuodd defnyddio papurau punt yn Sir Frycheiniog yn hwyr yn y ddeunawfed ganrif. Roedd yn golygu y gallai ffermwyr a phorthmyn da byw weithredu’n fwy diogel heb orfod cario arian parod. Rhyddhawyd y papur punt hwn ym 1815 ar gyfer busnesau lleol yn Sir Frycheiniog. Mae wedi’i lofnodi gan George North.
