Wild brown trout caught in the Crai Reservoir in 1917 weighing 6 lbs 3 oz. The reservoir is part of the Cnewr Estate and was created in 1907 when it was stocked with trout. This trout would have grown to this large size due to lack of competition. Brithyll gwyllt yw hwn gafodd ei ddal yng nghronfa Crai ym 1917 ac roedd yn pwyso chwe phwys, tair owns. Mae’r gronfa’n rhan o Ystad Cnewr ac fe’i crëwyd ym 1907 pan gafodd ei llenwi â brithyllod. Byddai’r brithyll hwn wedi tyfu i’r maint yma oherwydd diffyg cystadleuaeth.
