This tiny silver object was part of pin or other fine instrument, probably dating from the second century AD. It was found in the civilian settlement outside Brecon Gaer - the Roman fort at Aberyscir. The hand may be holding a pomegranate, a Greek and Roman symbol of both death and rebirth. Mae’n debyg mai rhan o bin neu offeryn main arall o’r ail ganrif OC oedd yr eitem fechan yma o arian. Darganfuwyd y pin yn yr annedd sifilaidd y tu allan i’r gaer Rufeinig ger Aberhonddu yn Aberyscir. Mae’n bosibl fod llaw yn dal pomgranad, arwydd Groegaidd a Rhufeinig o farwolaeth ac ailenedigaeth.
