This oak door came from a 17th century house at Tretower, which was later incorporated into an inn. The door accessed a cross-passage, which is exceptionally wide since it matches the width of a barn door opposite. Carts could be driven from the street, along the cross-passage, and straight into the barn. Daeth y drws hwn o dŷ’n dyddio’n ôl i’r seithfed ganrif ar ddeg yn Nhretŵr, a addaswyd i fod yn dafarn yn ddiweddarach. Roedd y drws yn arwain at dramwyfa groes sy’n eithriadol o lydan gan ei bod yr un lled â drws ysgubor gyferbyn. Gellid gyrru certi o’r stryd, ar hyd y dramwyfa groes, ac yn syth i mewn i’r ysgubor.
