The Llandrindod Wells Log Boat was found in the River Ithon in the summer of 1929. It was thought to be Roman, as it was near to the Roman fort at Castell Collen. In 2002 the boat was dated using dendrochronology to between 1198-1228 AD. Daethpwyd o hyd i Geufad Llandrindod yn Afon Ieithon yn haf 1929. Tybiwyd mai Rhufeinig ydoedd, gan ei fod yn agos i'r gaer Rufeinig yng Nghastell Collen. Yn 2002 dyddiwyd y ceufad gan ddefnyddio dendrocronoleg i rhwng 1198-1228 OC.
