A postcard showing ‘Christmas Greetings from Groesfford’. During Victorian times, as the popularity of giving Christmas cards increased, putting place names on cards became increasingly popular. Cerdyn post yn dangos ‘Cyfarchion Nadolig o Groesffordd’. Yn ystod oes Fictoria, wrth i boblogrwydd rhoi cardiau Nadolig gynyddu, daeth rhoi enwau lleoedd ar gardiau yn fwyfwy poblogaidd.
