Ladies sun bonnet. Mid to late Victorian. Made of a light blue cotton this bonnet has been well-worn as there is evidence of fading and sweat stains. It is machine-stitched with rows of stitching on the brim, a decorative ruffle on the crown and ties to secure at the neck. This bonnet can be stored flat and adjusted to differently shaped heads with two gathered channels that are pulled at the base of the neck. Bonet Haul Menyw. Canol i ddiwedd Oes Victoria. Gwnaethpwyd o gotwm glas golau, mae’r fonet wedi cael ei wisgo lawer oherwydd mae tystiolaeth o golli lliw ac olion chwys. Defnyddiwyd peiriant i’w bwytho, gyda rhesi pwythi ar y cantel, ryffl addurnol ar y goron a rhwymynau i’w ddiogelu ger y gwddf. Gellir cadw’r fonet hon yn wastad a’i addasu i bennau siapiau gwahanol gyda dwy sianel sy’n cael eu tynnu wrth waelod y gwddf.
