Queen Boadicea, her arm uplifted in defiance, calls on her Iceni warriors to defeat the Roman invaders. She tramples a Roman shield while her daughters cower at her side. The English sculptor John Thomas also made many figures for the new Houses of Parliament. Boadicea was exhibited at the Great London Exposition of 1862. Gan godi ei braich mewn herfeiddiwch, mae Brenhines Buddug yn galw ar ei rhyfelwyr o Iceni i drechu’r goresgynwyr Rhufeinig. Mae’n sathru dros darian Rufeinig wrth i’w merched gyrcydu wrth ei hochr. Gwnaeth y cerflunydd o Loegr, John Thomas, lawer o ffigyrau ar gyfer y Senedd newydd hefyd. Arddangoswyd Buddug yn Arddangosfa Fawr Llundain ym 1862.
